March 28, 201313 yr I have Wilco EVO Vol 1 and 2,and i make a grossweight to 0,and i fly safe, but when climb, the pitch angle is 2.5 degree,is very high,i insert cost index for 50,and when i climb or cruise (up to FL200/FL280) the pitch angle still 2.5,and a plane bank to the left and right.can anyone fix this?sorry for bad grammar Aldino Nabil Makarim
March 28, 201313 yr Commercial Member it is Impossible to have a gross weight of zero. Normal cruise pitch is 2.5 degrees, as long as your ZFWCG is correct and you are not above your MTOW you should be fine. Cost index has very little affect on cruise climb pitch, setting a ridiculously slow cruise/climb speed will. Regards Rob Prest

March 28, 201313 yr I'd like to add that wilco series vol 1 and 2 seem to have high pitch altitude. I fly Airbus X Extended and mostly Airsimmer and obviously able to see the steep difference. I once browsed the net and ended on a post where, IIRC, Dillon has edited the hight pitched tendency. I experience nearly 5 degrees no matter what I had done with the payload

April 1, 201313 yr Commercial Member Spark, I just had a look into this because I have replied to a similar post a few years back. The cg on the wilco bus is off however someone pointed out a bug, if you have the aircraft set to beginner or intermediate the auto trim will not behave correctly, you need to have it set to expert. I have never tested it myself so don't know if it is true, however it probably explains why some have reported issues while others don't. Rob Prest
April 3, 201313 yr Yes, if you set it to expert, you would eliminate the after take off high pitch. If you set it to beginner or intermediate, the trim would change to 4.5 up right after set thrust for take off. As for the pitch angle, setting the cost index to low value(20) would cause a lower speed(.74) and therefore a high pitch angle. April 4, 201313 yr Commercial Member Seting the cost index to a low value should not cause a high pitch angle. Angle of attack will be slightly higher since you are cruising at a lower speed. Rob Prest
