I'm trying to get the above gamepad to work with FSX and Win 8.

Any help appreciated.

Hi,

I know the above, is an old 2012 post, but I will briefly describe my experience.

I have Win 8.1, 1GB NVidia, 8GB Ram, an i7 cpu. FSX just about runs on it with a fresh power up, (I do not use any other programs before I click FSX.

I use the Logitech F710, it is a bit erratic in operation at the start but once I get it going, I can control acceleration, climb/descent, turn, brakes, flaps, rudder,  when flying Cessna 172. I have the D-X switch on the front set to "D". I would like more info on how to assign other functions to the remaining switches. (Perhaps they are of use in other aircraft, which I have not really used.)

Regards,

FM
