Zoquis:Thanks for the reply. As you said, I purchased FS9 (pre-ordered if I remember correctly) as soon as it was available too. In fact I think it arrived a few days before they said that it was officially going to be sent.I never flew the heavy birds but am an old CFI from ages past. "As Real As It Gets" is growing closer and closer to the real thing IMHO. In fact it may have surpassed what was reality for me. Things like the GPS and FMC did not exist in my day.For sure in the next issue of FS, I am going to be one apprehensive upgrader if it means loosing any significant amount of the great contributions that have been offered for FS9. Some months ago I thought that this was just a payware issue, but as you said the freeware has reached a level as well such that I sure would hate to loose some of the contributions. I know that this has been a decision for past versions as well, (I started with the 5 1/4 inch disk versions), but I really think we have moved to a much higher level of quality compared to the past transitions. The work of some gifted folks is moving to an unbelievable higher bar to me.Happy Flying:RTH
