g3d.dll only in imagine sim VHHH

Featured Replies

My fsx gets g3d.dll error when i am approaching imagine sim VHHH. But my fsx is not lag. (No problem when i departure in Imagine sim VHHH )

After i uninstall imagine sim VHHH , every things run very well.

I have Free version of FSUIPC

Computer :

i72600k  3.40Ghz  GTX560ti

4GB RAM

Windwos 7 64bit

I would run VHHH with the following triggers in the Scenery section of your FSX.cfg (thanks to FS Developers):

To identify the filename of missing textures, (simobject or scenery),
add the following lines to your fsx.CFG into the section titled [sCENERY].

[sCENERY]// To show alerts or areas, set to = 1 // To hide alerts or areas, set to = 0 // Alert for missing texturesShowMissingTextureAlert=1// Alert for missing objectsMissingLibraryAlert=1// Render Trigger areas as visible boxesShowTriggers=1

What will happen when a texture or object is found missing is an error message will pop up during your flight identifying the object/texture. You can click okay to continue with your flight and you will not have a g3d.dll error.  You can then use this error info to pass on to ImagineSim so they can try to find the problem.  It may not be their problem though.  It could be a texture or object outside the purview of VHHH.  G3D errors can also happen with very high fsx/display driver settings.

Best regards,

Jim
