April 9, 201313 yr Hi everyone, I seem to have accidently screwed up my scenery.cfg for Prepar3d . everytime I start Perpar3d, I get a message that reads "Prepar3d cannot run without a valid scenery.cfg. Please uninstall and reinstall Prepar3d" I checked several forums to find a solution but was unsuccesful. Please, is there any way to repair the scenery.cfg? Reinstalling Prepar3d with all addons would take me days because I´d have to download all of them again, finding my serial numbers etc. Thanks in advance !!! Regards, Fabian

April 10, 201313 yr You will find your scenery.cfg in C:\ProgramData\Lockheed Martin\Prepar3d Back this up and then create a new blank file named scenery.cfg Prepar3d will then be able to start up although it won't have your add-ons listed. Then you can copy and paste data from the old scenery.cfg to the new one piecemeal until you find out which entry was causing your issue. If you only had the problem recently, you can safety add all of the data referring to scenery that you know to work. You may also have backup scenery.cfgs in this folder that were created when you installed add-ons. If this is the case then copy the latest one of those and rename the copy as scenery.cfg. Once you have done this and tested to see that P3d works, you can then reinstall the add on. Hope this helps. Dale Collins
