Hi

Forever I've used an on-board sound card. Today I installed a dedicated PCI sound card, disabled the on-board sound in the bios setting and noticed that I can now add an additional cloud layer with no drop in frame rates. Sim was already running silky smooth - this has just allowed more cloud detail.

Interesting. Often wondered about adding a sound card. May have to give it a try now.
