I've been using CS Legendary 707 for many years now with no problems.

About a week ago, I discovered that the b707.tcas.gau file was no longer working and that it no longer existed in the FS gauge folder.

 

The file had been quarantined by BitDefender 2013. The virus listed was "Gen:Variant. Symmi.17092"

 

Is this a false positive or has a virus suddenly come "alive" in this file?

Most likely a false positive, especially if it started after a definition update.

 

I've had it a couple of times using Avast, and after reporting it to Avast, they sorted it out.

 

I've also seen similar posts in other forums.
