Question About Checklists

Featured Replies

Hi

I have a question regarding checklists with unsupported aircraft.

Because they are not officially supported the FO keeps asking me if I'm sure that a checklist item is how I stated. If I say it's confirmed he still doesn't believe me.

Is there a way to make it so he doesn't challenge me so much on some aircraft?

I think it's only on the unsupported aircraft because I don't notice it on supported aircraft.

Thanks

Lee

There is a little known option in mce.ini [CHECKLIST] section (C:\Users\you_user_nae\AppData\Roaming\Multi Crew Experience\).

Change "NoStateCheck=0" to "NoStateCheck=1" and save the file.

With the change, FO will read any checklist section with any aircraft, wait for an answer (any answer) and move to the next item.

It was intended for simpit builders, for situations where FO cannot read the status of hardware panel switches.

Just remember to set it back to 0 for supported aircraft if you want realism.

At some point we'll update the MCE UI to include all those options that require a trip to the "mce.ini"
