May 4, 201313 yr Hey guys, is there a chance to get the flap movement sound into the virtual cockpit enviroment? i just LOOVEEE this sound haha..and would love to hear it in the cockpit, cause this is the area where i spend all the time during flight...what a captain actually should do If you can´t read it, you can´t fly it. May 4, 201313 yr Probably no. This sound is not heard from real cockpit. PMDG wouldn't implement unrealistic things. But maybe you can change some config file, but I'm not sure. Rostyslav S Wanna fly 737NGX with turbulence?
May 5, 201313 yr You can hear it from external view (assuming you're at a low thrust setting like taxying or decending at or near idle thrust). You can't hear it in the cockpit behind the closed cockpit door and the rather loud sound of pressurization, air conditioning, and (most significantly) the oncoming air hitting the windscreen. May 5, 201313 yr Author i know i know that you cant hear it in the cockpit on a *real* NG...the request was about putting the sound into the VC environment of the NGX. with some, i dont know, changes in the aircraft.cfg or elsewhere, maybe someone got an Idea. If you can´t read it, you can´t fly it. Real world B777F pilot
