Try installing or reinstalling your motherboard (MOBO) controller chip drivers, i.e., Intel, VIA, SiS, AMD, ALi, NForce. You could also try running the directx diagnostics, press Start, Run..., type dxdiag, OK. Let the diagnostic stabilize, ensure you are using DirectX9.0b or 9.0c. Select the Display tab, ensure DirectDraw, Direct3d, and AGP Accelerations are enabled. Run the Directdraw and Direct3d tests and note any errors.W. Sieffert

I had this happen on my W98SE system when for various reasons my C: partition was formatted at a minimal FAT as opposed to FAT 32. Even MS support was no help here.As soon as I converted to FAT32 it installed correctly. Now, I was installing on another partition that was FAT32 but it made no difference until my primary partition was converted to FAT32.By the way, it also clobbered on the initial attempt my G: partition which had X-Plane at the time. What a coincidence !The MS installers are ill behaved and picky and do not handle file system and resource errors very well. I would definitely run a good file system checker on both your C: primary partition and your chosen install position. You also require a fair amount of empty disk space in youy temp directory for all of the temp files created by expansion during the install. Also make sure you are offline and then kill any unrequired background applications such as virus protection, firewall, application protection scheme (trojan checker), etc., that might disturb the finicky installer that wants control of everything.

Thanks for helping me , i will try again .Buth my HD uses NTFS (more then 32GB) is 90GB i think )Thanks
