October 8, 200421 yr Hi,I have been wondering about where MSFS put itself in terms of number of sold PC game copies.?I am almost sure that Sims takes the lead big time. Since you can find that game in every Seven Eleven, gas station or any teen clothing retailstore here in Sweden.Do you have any idea about the "Top five" PC games sold around the world?Fly safe, Staffan AhlbergSweden/Stockholm/ESSAPMDG MD-11 Team - Beta testerMy specs are:Dell Dimension 4600 P4/3.0 Ghz512 Mb DDR333 Dual channel memory128 Mb ATI Radeon 9800 ProCatalyst 4.7DirectX 9.0bW XP Home with SP1E171FPb Flat panel monitor 17"240Gb (2x120) 7200rpm HD Staffan

October 8, 200421 yr So how many copies are sold from fs2004? Does anyone know any numbers?I've searched for them on the net a while ago but couldn't find anything specific. Looks like a great mistery to me...Like many things microsoft does...Not very transparent.regards,Claudio
October 8, 200421 yr I'm not sure the FS9 version sold all that well as the "limited edition" tin can packaging is still on many retail shelves now around half-price.Perhaps the comments on the performance drag even on medium speed requirements for a pc deterred many from upgrading from FS2K2. Maybe that was the reason for the "unusual" upcoming FS9 patch said by some expected to improve performance. Nothing like a poor retail return to provide a reason to either kill a product or patch it.

October 8, 200421 yr >What "patch" are you refering to?Good question. On the official msfs site isn't published anything about it. Neither on Fs Insider. Another good example how poor microsoft handles information. And don't argue with the "we can't tell because of law issues"- argument. Just ask yourself free from any conventions how good you get informated...sorry for my poor english.Claudio
