the md11 cant be packs off by default as it has only started doing it, ive had his bird a few yrs now and its just started doing it.

Its definately a warning that all bleeds r off. i have to hit the bleeds buttons (off is highligjted) then put packs on then after a few more seconds switch from manual to auto.

Paul, I do not understand it either, but I had the same problem, high TAT in the MD-11 and the NGX. I watched the TAT as I was climbing from runway to FL300 and the TAT increased, did not decrease as should. I was using FSX weather to user defined. This had never happened before, so I thought I would try AS2012 and every thing worked as advertised. I think that it must have had something to do with a Windows update or something. But, it is working now as long as I use a different weather engine, other than FSX. I do not turn the Bleeds off.

Hey Harry thanks,

I will ignore what the fmc says and just go by what active sky is telling me.

Thanks
