May 21, 201313 yr Commercial Member Hi, OK, I just brought the software and have some questions. Its installed, but not working yet. The main use I want, is to be able to have outside views at the same time as my cockpit view. I have another PC right next to my flight PC and its netwroked to my main PC, via a switch and ethernet cable. To do this , I assume I need to have FSX installed on the other PC and presumably, all the scenery & planes I want to view on the 2nd PC yes? What are you guys experience of a similar set up, how does it work and how easy is it to set up? I must admit the set up guide looked rather complicated...enough for me to decide to try after I had looked into some details further first. Thanks , Mark
May 22, 201313 yr Commercial Member Hi, it's not difficult to set up a networked system, get your main system set up with our initial user guide, then follow the networked PC guide, http://www.opussoftware.co.uk/opusfsi/opusfsx_getting_started_network.htm Yes you will need FSX and your scenery installed on the networked PC although some users do share the scenery over the network. May 22, 201313 yr Author Commercial Member +OK...I have got as far as Track ir settings, and it says" within opus fsx, set the scan speed to 25 initially" also mentions xyz scaling & PBY scaling.... sorry, but I have looked everywhere and cannot find any window or setting with these options? I have looked in camera control, configure and the others, but no joy... Can you point me please?
May 22, 201313 yr Commercial Member These settings are in the server's configure dialog http://www.opussoftware.co.uk/opusfsi/opusfsx_live_camera.htm#_Toc342979927
