May 23, 201313 yr Does anyone have any experience using the Integrated Simavionics (ISGsim GNS) with the DC-9 in place of the default FSX GPS? Mitchell Haughee
May 24, 201313 yr Author I was wondering how it worked with the aircraft? Was it easy to install? What is the key to bring it up when flying? Were you able to fly RNAV SIDS and STARS? Mitchell Haughee
May 25, 201313 yr Oh come on... just use the VORs. That's the whole point of the DC-9. If you want to use your RNAV and the STARS then I think a plane like the NGX would be better suited for you. May 25, 201313 yr The DC9S we operated had FMS and RNAV capability. We flew them all over the world. Rick D http://g5flyer.tumblr.com/
May 25, 201313 yr Author The DC9S we operated had FMS and RNAV capability. We flew them all over the world. Thank you this is my point exactly. I know they do in real life currently fly with FMS and would be capable of all that I mentioned wanting to do; I'm just trying to find out if the Coolsky simulation will allow that with this 3rd party navigation system before I buy it Mitchell Haughee
