Xtreme Prototypes Learjet 25 Version 2.0 Released!
I have been anxiously waiting for this to come out! The website doesn't have high resolution photos of it, but I downloaded it and it is far superior to their version 1. http://xtremeprototypes.com/en/product_GLJ25_se.asp

The last photo is mine. I appreciate you like the photo and sharing it. I will take credit for it with this post since the airliners.net mark that credits me has been cropped off.

Are you still working on these projects? Would love to see more of your work get released!

Who is doing the 25? Any pics?

ATC Call sign 0 for both MU-2 and LearJet?
I need to find a way to get atc to say "Learjet n615hb" instead of "bombardier n615hb"

Those look great, thank you!

Learjet 35A
There is no preset with this autopilot. You trim the aircraft to the v/s you want then select v/s mode on the autopilot (provided you have the autopilot all properly engaged prior to selecting v/s mode). The v/s mode will hold the v/s that you are indicating at time of engagement

Lear 35 Center Fuel Tank Draining
Flight sims can be very touchy to saved files. I know in some other aircraft if I even ctrl+e start the engines because I was lazy, it will only burn out of a certain tank and when that runs out it won switch to another tank. So the engines just die and that's the end of that. Just a simulation thing.

Lear35 Reverse Thrust
You have to arm them on the panel above the autopilot controls.

LJ35A - Correct Procedure for Reversers During Landing
I could be wrong but I do not believe the 35 has auto spoilers.

Learjet 35A Power setting
. It should be N1 that is referenced not N2 (N1 being the fan speed, N2 is the turbine). Was this just a typo?

Well it would be better to have the temps right at the high end then right at idle I would say. If we need to have a trade off it would be better making the take off thrust temp right and being able to use a realistic 795c for climb. That's what they do in the real plane.

Reverser
The engine temp gauges are reading too high as well. Just a rough temp but it looks more like 450c is idle and it shouldn't go past green on the gauge when under 100 on the N1

Lear 35A Autopilot question.
The SPD doesn't seem the hold the speed I select it at very well. Have you noticed that? Or is that normal in the real aircraft?

Lear cruise power issue? Possible.
They increased the drag in v1.3. It was to make decents and slowing down easier. It's an fsx limitation on the fuel consumption. The plane in fsx does burn more than it should at Low altitude and climb and take off thrust. It is pretty close to right at idle on ground and cruise as far as I can tell. I think the drag is a little excessive personally. Maybe tone it down a little in the next update.

Learjet 35A
My pics won't do much good. I can tell you that the exterior modeling is very real looking. Proportions are all dead on. The texturing is actually really pleasing in my opinion. The cockpit proportions really give you the feel of being in a tight Lear cockpit. I don't have a single complaint about the modeling or textures.

Learjet 35 autopilot help
I haven't found the IAS hold mode to be too good at keeping it at what I selected. I got the v/s mode to work that way yesterday but today for some reason I tried doing it that way again and it just kept going to 4500fpm regardless of the rate I engaged it at...

So good to hear your imforation as a pilot of this aircraft! I too would be very interested to hear of your impressions of this addon should you decide to purchase it.

Learjet 35 autopilot help
I can't find the trim wheel for the AP to adjust the v/s. Anybody who knows where it is post a picture?

Learjet 35A
I've made some of my own adjusting to the .air file to bring it down to what I feel is more accurate. But I think everyone probably has their own taste.

Learjet 35A
Not nearly as pronounced as the Lionheart one. I'm not a real wold pilot. I have never been in a real learjet so these are just my observations from viewing footage from inside these aircraft. They are great performers. I just feel like its easy to get too carried away with the power. The fuel consumption is high at take off thrust too. I think it is probably just a limitation with FSX to get it completely right because fuel consumption seems accurate on the ground at idle and at cruise with a cruise power setting.

Learjet 35A
Cool video to watch one way or another. From watching several videos I have never seen any of the pilots taking off with 80 percent on their fan gauge. And the corresponding temp is never over the redline. Of course I don't know the air temps they're flying in. I would suppose that you would have a higher chance of overheating on takeoff on a hotter day vs colder. I was redlining with outside air at 77 farenheit.

Learjet 35A
I have noticed some performance paramaters that do not seem quite right. I could be wrong, but thought I would mention them here incase it can lead to a positive change. The turbine temp goes into red with the fan percent being just over 80. How do we use the 95 percent or so that would be conceivable used for takeoff if the temp is off the marks on the gauge? I also read a general stat that said the Lear 35A needs just over 10,000ft of runway to takeoff at 5,000ft altitude and 25c outside air temperature. I Tried this out at KDEN. I went to 18,000lbs GW, throttles to 95 percent (well past redline on the temp gauge) and it took off in about half the 10,000ft distance needed. I tried this again with the power only at 80 percent and got a more reasonable takeoff roll. Could it just be over powered some in the sim?
