Hi, everyone

I finally managed to install my new 737-800 NGX on FSX which took me hours. Now the problem is that the mouse doesn't interract with the cockpit and is inefficient. I get a black arrow for the mouse and none of the commands work. How could I do to make everything work ok? Thanks a lot for your help.

Hi,

It sounds like you haven't installed the aircraft properly.  I suggest uninstalling it and then do a reinstall.  It shouldn't take hours to install the aircraft, so maybe you are not installing it correctly.

Just in case it helps, when installing sophisticated aircraft like the NGX, wisdom I have gleaned from forums such as these:

Don't use Chrome for the download, it has been known to corrupt downloads.

Disable UAC.

Disable anti-virus.

(I think these are especially important if FSX is still in it's default directory - Windows doubles up protection for progs in the (x86) folder and may not write to them properly).

You don't say your operating system, but Win 8 is not as flightsim friendly as Win7, at least for some aircraft.
