If you do decide to uninstall FS2Crew, make sure to go into the FS2Crew config panel and hit "Restore original PMDG..." before you uninstall. Otherwise the call outs still won't be there.

Update:

 

It was FS2Crew. so i removed the panel config, go the callouts working, and instantly fell in love the the plane.

 

tonight, i re-activated fs2crew, and did a full flight with the voice commands and all the call-outs working, and fell in love with that addon as well. (strangely, the best part for me was being able to ask for coffee from the FA ).
