W7 OS can be installed by this company for $104.00 and includes Office starter w/ Word and excel. Good deal imo.

I don't know so much about prices in dollars and such, so I won't suggest anything when it comes to to what system to buy, but you can save a few bucks if you skip buying the antivirus software as there are plenty of good ones for free. Have never used commercial antivirus software and never had any virus problems... :rolleyes:
