Track Ir, active camera and GA airplane

Featured Replies

Hello,

I just bought Opus, mainly for the weather engine, but discover it also provide some kind of function for the camera.

I have a Track Ir and essentialy fly GA aircraft where I don't need to focus on a specific part of the cockpit, in that respect do I have any advantage in using the active camera option ? (documentation is a bit criptic so I'm not sure to understand all the functionality of the active camera option...)

Thanks in advance

Thanks for purchasing OpusFSX.

Yes, you will experience DHM with turbulence effects related to your current weather conditions if you use our cameras.

Hello Cheryl, and thanks for your quick answer,

Does the DHM works when using a track Ir ? (I plan to keep using a Track Ir as I think for GA airplane with a small cockpit it's just the best solution)

Yes it does.

It is compatible with TrackIR. You can turn off TIR for individual views if required, for example a close up camera view on an instrument panel where you wish to click on buttons without TIR moving about, it just makes it easier.
