June 11, 201313 yr I was going to go for ASUS Rampage IV Extreme (EATX) however having trouble finding a case for it that is mid-tower. I'd like to use 2400Mhz memory as well, and the Noctua D14 has to fit in it. Suggestions much appreciated...for a mid-tower case that will work for EATX and not look like it belongs in Terminator 5, or for a regular ATX form factor board that over clocks SB-E i7 processors well, handles 2400Mhz DDR3 quad channel, and does PCIe3.0 since all mid-tower cases seem to handle the form factor. June 11, 201313 yr Noel, I'm not up with the X79 platform but best bet would be to go online to newegg or something and look for ATX X79 boards and then look for reviews etc. Try this: http://www.newegg.com/Product/ProductList.aspx?Submit=ENE&N=100007627%20600009016&IsNodeId=1&Description=x79&name=ATX&Order=BESTMATCH I don't know what your budget is or if you like one brand over another, but the first three in that list from Asus are all probably pretty good/safe choices going by there Z77/Z87 counterparts. -Anthony Young- "For once you have tasted flight you will walk the earth with your eyes turned skywards, for there you have been and there you will long to return." - Leonardo da Vinci
