June 13, 201312 yr ...is a movie on Netflix starring Walter Matthau. He is a stooge in an airshow, plays a pretend drunk in the audience waving a whiskey bottle around. Runs and hops into a biplane and taxis slowly then accelerates. Suddenly he does a ground loop and winds up hanging upside down inside the plane now resting on the ground, he is still strapped in, unhurt. The rescue team unstraps him and removes him. All part of the act. Any of you real pilots think this is a stunt that could be done on cue by a professional stunt flyer? Later in the movie he pulls the same stunt as part of a con game involving stolen money. The idea is that he can pull this stunt off regularly and never get hurt, and not damage the plane. 5800X3D, RTX4070, 600 Watt, one or two 1440p 32" screens, 64 GB RAM, 4 TB PCle 3 NVMe, Warthog throttle, VKB NXT EVO stick, Honeycomb Alpha yoke, CH quad, 3 Logitech panels, 2 StreamDecks, Desktop Aviator Trim Panel. Crystal Light VR.
June 13, 201312 yr Not sure how you end up upside down in a ground loop unless the airplane somehow noses over or goes into a cartwheel. There are similar acts out there and very good ones.
