Help with button assignement

Featured Replies

Hello!

I want to assign two buttons in my G940 joystick to disconnect the AP and AT to manual control the plane in the approach. The buttons that are in the throttle levers and the yoke in the real thing.

In the FMC options of PMDG there are an option to adding a key assignement but no a joystick button.

How I can setup it?

Thanks

You need a joystick-keystroke mapper.

I use JoKer for my ATC stuff (it's really light, but I don't think it's out there anymore.  Alternatively you can map keys in FSUIPC (what I use for the sim), or by using a simple program like JoyToKey (http://www.electracode.com/4/joy2key/JoyToKey%20English%20Version.htm)

Set up a keystroke in the NGX (I used CTRL + SHIFT + 1 for AP and CTRL + SHIFT + 2 for AT), and then map the button to that keystroke.  Done!

You have to have a registered version.  It will be on the Buttons + Switches tab.
