DC-9 Cockpit Extras

Featured Replies

Hi

So I recently got the Coolsky DC-9. Really enjoying it- some engine start problems and I don't know why, only one engine starts but I'll figure it out, I don't think it's nothing I'm doing cause even the tutorial doesn't work, any thoughts on that?

Anyway the real reason I'm here, the cockpit textures at McPhat look nice and while I don't agree that they saved them and charged extra I think I should get them.

Do they make a difference? Are they worth it?

Regarding the one engine issues, do you have both pneumatic crossfeed valves open? Is your APU running? Is your APU air pressure good? (within 38 to 45 psi). The air pressure gauge is near the engine start panel, and is easy to figure out. Otherwise, it would just require a reload of the aircraft.

The McPhat VC upgrade is great. If you ever saw the in development shots of this bird with the fantastic VC, that is what you are getting. It's a big difference between the default VC included in the package, and comes with 3 colors and 2 resolutions I think. I bought it and personally it was well worth my money.

Hi

Thanks for replying.

My crossbleed valves are good, I think air pressure is good too I'll double check although I remember thinking that. I can start the first engine fine doesn't matter if it's engine 1 or 2 but can't start the other engine once the first is started. I follow the exact same procedure too.

I guess I'll pick up the cockpit textures, they look good

Thanks
