June 23, 201312 yr Sorry ,This may be very basic but what is "legacy mode " in p3d . Is this a p3d function of a fsx migration tool function. Searched here and at p3d . Thanks in advance Pete
June 23, 201312 yr Hi Pete, Legacy Mode is a function of a FSX migration tool. It creates files and folders that mimic FSX and fool non P3D compliant installers and programs to function like they would if FSX was actually installed. Cheers, Cpt. Thad Wheeler
June 24, 201312 yr Hmmm, I never used that executable. Even though I have the Estonian Migration Tool and the Virtual FSX enabled, I always start P3D through the default launcher icon. Should I use the Legacy Mode icon instead??? June 24, 201312 yr Author Ok, thanks for the advice. I have to go back to the Estonia MT, I thought it was only of migrating 3rd part software into p3d by setting up an emulation of fsx . ( which by the way works well for me ) I need to go back and read the migration tool manual. I must have made a mistake because i was under the impression you have to disable the virtual mode before running p3d. I'll go back and have a look , my mistake . Thanks for pointing me in this direction. Pete
