October 21, 200421 yr I was just wondering what kind of performance you would expect with this system.2.6 GHZ P4 OC'd to 3.1ATI X800 proOCZ I gig 3200I am wondering because i FEEL i should be getting better performance with my current setting. Some thing really BOG down the fps. for eg, i was in CYYJ with a preset weather with lots of clouds, rain. I was getting average of 40-50 FPS. I was saying WOW. BUT then i figured i did not have the PANELASTEXTURE thing going to i set that up. BOOM FPS dropped to average of 24. Now THATS a hit on FPS.
October 21, 200421 yr Well, I would turn "panelastexture" off again, if I were you. If you do so, you can expect to have your original framerates of 40-50 back. Be well!Jaap Verduijn.
October 21, 200421 yr Author The PanelasTexture option on my system provided no benefit after the 60 series of nvidia drivers came along and are history as far as I am concerned. Bert
