June 27, 201312 yr Hello. I just purchased the MD-11 and when I tried to install it and I got this message. FS9 Version 9.1.040901 (FS9.1 at least) required. You only have FS9 Version 9.0.0.30612 installed. Please install FS9.1 or later to use this product. Has anyone else ever had this happen? ..........John
June 28, 201312 yr Commercial Member John- It is telling you precisely what you need to accomplish! You have an "un-patched" version of FS9 installed, but the MD-11 was built on a newer, patched version that had some fixes and functionality upon which the airplane depends. You can download the patch from here: http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=9727 Once you have that installed, the MD-11 will stop complaining- and you will be off and running.
