July 4, 201312 yr Hello Hopefully I have posted this in the right section, I am new to this site and still trying to find my way around.I have been enjoying FSX on my system for a little while and wanted to make the display look better by enabling Anti Aliasing in FSX directly. However when I check the option in the sim it results in the screen flashing black and white every 10 seconds. I run an pretty old Radeon 4870 512mb card. I have found that if i set the AA to be controlled by the CCC and not FSX the flashing stops, have any other users experienced this and if so do you know why this happens ? I have tried various drivers but have not had any luck. Many thanks Darran My youtube channel http://www.youtube.com/c/Dkentflyer

Although a 512MB card might struggle with FSX nowadays. I had that card 3 years ago and I had problems using AA set in FSX and just used CCC. I still use the driver for AA for nVidia and ATI. In DX10 we have no choice. AA must be enabled in FSX to get AA working at all. Charles.
