igdumdim32.dll crash

Recommended Posts

Hi,

Could someone help me?

I am experiencing a very strange kind of crash. It only happens when I run FSX in normal (directx 9) mode. . If I try to watch instant replay or change zoom from 8x or higher to another speed, FSX crashes. In the log view it says the fault was due igdumdim32.dll error.

If I run in directx10 preview I got no problem at all. Unfortunately I have a lot of planes that don't show textures correctly in directx 10 preview, no matter if in external view mode or VC.

I've been looking on internet for this problem but till know I didn't find anything, but knowing it is a dll for Intel HD graphics integrated card. Mine is Intel HD 4000. Computer is vaio ultrabook with i7 processor with 8GB RAM.

I use fsuipc and uiautomationcore in FSX folder. I have the last version of intel driver as well.

Tks

Did you check for an updated driver?  Try downloading and running a driver update program.  I use Driver Scanner and it searches for outdated drivers and provides a report.  If you have the program update the drivers, you will have to purchase it and register it first.  You can also see what needs updating and go on the Internet and search for the updated drivers and download and install them yourself.

Best regards,

Jim

Thanks for your assistance, Jim.

Intel drivers are updated directly from intel support site.

Best regards,

Ricardo
