I have tried many times to save the settings of my aircraft ( A2A P-51) from the last shutdown. Every time I reload my aircraft the plane is not left in the same condition I left it in such as, trying to save the plane with the cockpit open. When I reload it the cockpit is closed. The plane itself is where i left it in the same spot on the parking area. How can I save the aircraft in the same condition I left it in???

Cockpit, or more correctly exit state, is not a parameter that is saved in the .flt files.

 

Nothing we can do about it.

 

BTW, saved flight files (xxx.flt) can be opened with Notepad, so you can see what is saved.
