July 21, 200322 yr ...airlines go to great lengths to immediately cover reg numbers and airline markings? anyone who flies even a little bit is going to know an airline's color scheme when they see it, whether or not the name has been masked over.thxchris
July 22, 200322 yr You'd be surprised how many people do NOT know a livery if the name is missing. That includes a lot of reporters and your average TV newsshow viewer.Just look at the incorrect photos of aircraft shown as being the one that crashed before the accident.Usually they're the wrong airline and more often than not the wrong aircraft type as well.Anything that can help disassociate you from the accident helps, and covering up any markings that can help people identify the aircraft as yours is easy.
