Recommendations for a training airport dx10 compatible

Featured Replies

Hey folks,

I'm interested to find a good airport for conducting some training flights ( touch/go). Here are the preferences:

1. single runway, long enough to accomodate jet traffic

2. decent level of detail and performance

3. (of course!) fully dx10 compatible.

I really like the look of KJAC by orbx but sadly it doesn't seem dx10 compatible for dusk/night. Thinking about Ketchikan (PAKT) by orbx but wondered about others.

I have aerosoft friedrichshafen x but not dx10 compatible.

Since I have all the PNW CRM NRM scenery, somewhere in there would be great, but frankly it could be anywhere in the world, especially with ORBX Global coming out.

Any recommendations?

Thank you!

Look at "DX10 and compatible airports" on top of this forum, where a lot of DX10 friendly airports are already mentioned.

BTW one excellent made full compatible DX10 payware airport is Vancouver CYVR from fsdreamteam.com.

The airport matches perfectly with FTX PNW.

More easy:  Using FTX freeware Hoqiam airport KHQM embedded in FTX PNW.

Besides the outstanding scenery the runway can be used for the heavies too.
