July 26, 201312 yr I think that switching the NAV-GPS switch to GPS position the flag on HSI must revert indicating that the GPS is now driving the NAV1 but also the compass card on HSI should indicate a True Heading. I looked at all default planes and I noticed that the compass card remains indicating a Magnetic heading. Which is the right indication? Gianfranco

July 30, 201312 yr Commercial Member If you subscribe to any real-world airfield documentation, you'll notice that occasionally runways headings change by a degree or two as the magnetic pole moves. Being in the UK, I use Pooley's but admittedly, mine is always a year out of date because it's cheaper to buy last year's copy :lol: :lol: -Dai
