October 30, 200421 yr I tried to set the propellor lever on my CH Flight Yoke to use it to deploy and retract the spoilers but it does not work correctly. Even after calibration moving the lever causes the spoilers to deploy but they cannot be retracted. It seems to get hung up on the spoiler arm detent. Seems way to sensitive.Has anyone been able to accomplish this without full version of FSUIPC? I have only the stripped down version that came with PSS.Thanks,Greg Greg Clark
October 30, 200421 yr I have the registered version of FSUIPC, and I couldn't manage it either.I'm not sure why it doesn't work, maybe cos the levers are actually axis controls, and not buttons? So I left the levers as they were in the end(Throttle/Mix./Prop), and mapped the spoilers to the button on the left side of the yoke, the one you can operate with your index finger.I guess you could try the switches that're used for flaps/wheels by default, it's possible they'd work better? I've never actually tried it myself though, it's just an idea.Hope this helps,RegardsGrahame (EDHL)
October 30, 200421 yr I map spoiler to the mixture axis and it works perfectly. I have the lite version of FSUIPC too.Gary 9800X3D | 4090 | 64GB | 2+1TB NVME | 2TB SSD | 2TB HDD | 85/50/43” TVs | Quest 3 | DOF H3 Motion Rig | Buttkicker | T.16000M Flight Kit MSFS @ 4K Ultra DLSS Performance FG 80 FPS | VR VDXR Godlike 80Hz SSW | MSFS VR DLSS Quality, Ultra Preset - Windows 11 Acer Nitro 5 | i5-11400H | RTX 3060 6 GB | 32GB DDR4 | 15.6" FHD IPS 144Hz | 2 x 512 GB SSD | Windows 11
October 30, 200421 yr HiI too have a CH yoke and I get the same problem (while using the PMDG 737NG series). I find that (in the PMDG 737) that pressing "Shift + /" (by default) retracts the spoilers into the "armed" position. This is probably more of a temporary solution for your problem than a fix though....
October 31, 200421 yr Author Gary,Could you explain indetail the steps of how you did it? Maybe there is something wrong with what I am doing by just choosing the rotation axis in FS 9. Did you use a mapping from the CH software?Other folks seem to have accomplished this as well. Thanks in advanceGreg Greg Clark
