August 5, 201312 yr Maybe someone can help me out. I want to switch the DG, and RMI in the 737-200, to indicate TRUE heading while flying in Northern Domestic Airspace. I checked the manuals, but have not found a way to adjust this. The aircraft will always show magnetic heading. Thanks, and great plane by the way. Absolutely loving it. Barry C. Barry C.
August 5, 201312 yr Moderator Have you tried setting true instead of magnetic in the FSX config menu? Fr. Bill AOPA Member: 07141481 AARP Member: 3209010556 Avsim Board of Directors | Avsim Forums Moderator
August 5, 201312 yr Author Thanks for the quick reply. I'm using P3D, but I've looked at both the FSX, and P3D configs, and cannot find this setting. Only one I see is for True and Indicated airspeed. Barry C.
August 5, 201312 yr Moderator Oops. I got my "trues" mixed up. Now that I think on it, there is no way for the instruments to use anyting other than magnetic. It's simply the way FS is hard-coded.
