November 2, 200421 yr Now raindrops on the windscreen I have seen but wiper smear in the VC? Maybe I have not noticed it before but it is pretty damn cool. Look at the crispness of the ADI. This pic shows the VC in it's highest detail options in rainy conditions, I think it shows the FPS are descent even though the options are not skimpy ;D.. These LARGE so dial up forget it..http://www.rawbw.com/~bdoolin/shinault/wipershttp://www.rawbw.com/~bdoolin/shinault/Image2For those wondering what the 2D FPS are, here is a shot for you ;-)http://www.rawbw.com/~bdoolin/shinault/Image5Best Wishes,
Randy J. November 2, 200421 yr That's a real nice 2D panel there Randy. Those gauges are sharp! What are the refresh rates for the gauges? Are they like the PMDG or more like Ariane?
November 2, 200421 yr Not like Araine, I would say almost exactly like PMDG with the options and all. The VC is truely good enough to go without the 2D, not as good as frame rates but still very flyable but they stick in the mid teens for the most part on the ground and in weather. Fantastic A/P, everything about this aircraft shows ATRs involvment. I am blow away by some guys crying about sound, the sound is like PMDGs and one can adjust various levels. Trust me you will be blown away at the level of completness of this sim, good enough for ATR is good enough for me!Best Wishes,
Randy J. November 2, 200421 yr "good enough for ATR is good enough for me!"EXACTLY. Ark -------------------------- I9 9900K @ 5ghz / 32GB G.Skill (Samsung B) / Aorus Master Mobo / EVGA GTX 2080Ti FTW 3
November 2, 200421 yr Thanks Randy...let me just see if I understand you here. The gauges refresh rate are almost exactly like that of the PMDG, if so that's very good news indeed. One of the first things I really look for is that, as I find it to be sort of a show stopper if they are all jerky. Thanks

You can tune them to suit your desires/system performance. :) Ark -------------------------- I9 9900K @ 5ghz / 32GB G.Skill (Samsung B) / Aorus Master Mobo / EVGA GTX 2080Ti FTW 3
November 2, 200421 yr I am dial-up, and the first two links ddin't take long at all to load! Also, the resolution in the third link makes it difficult to see details. Is that why the FPS is what it is?Just wonderin'.
November 2, 200421 yr Mikkel,I have the refresh rates for the VC guages at "faster" and the MCDU on medium. The framerates and SMOOTHNESS are much better than PMDGs 737 with my setup, and, therefore, the guages also appear to move more smoothly.I love the PMDG 737, but this one has me hooked for a while. The VC is absolutely immersive.
November 2, 200421 yr 1280x960. Some browsers you need to click on the screenshot to enlarge. The scenery settings might not have been set like they were in the first two shots, nevertheless the 2D panel is sharp and has great FPS... On another note, PMDG also has a GAUGE REFRESH slider for the VC. Best Wishes,
Randy J. Smith
http://www.rawbw.com/~bdoolin/shinault/southparkcartmad.gif
I WANT MY 747!
Caution! November 2, 200421 yr I see you opted for the attractive, but rare, blue panel, rather than the common chocolate-colored one :-) But I dunno... it kind of grows on you.
