August 10, 201312 yr Hello, Somehow a bug has crept in whereby when I load or create a flight plan and load FSX, my aircraft is at almost full throttle, with a/t, a/p etc on and alarms going all over the place. Its as though its a saved flight/panel state thats loaded, even when I'm at the gate, active or runway. Only seems to be with my 737. Default and other addons seem to be fine. I'm trying to avoid deleting the config file, if I can avoid it. Anyone have any ideas? G.
August 10, 201312 yr Hi, G30w72, I've seen this sort of initial situation too, although not associated with loading a flight plan. I'm not sure what is causing it or if it is even a bug, but I just hit "pause", turn off the autothrottle and set the throttles to idle. I think hitting pause and using the PMDG CDU menu to load the desired panel state would also work. If the plane has moved you can always slew back to where you want to be. I don't think you need to delete the FS X config file since the issue is specific to the NGX. Mike
August 10, 201312 yr Try changing/deleting your startup flight. Also load up the sim with a simple airplane. Helped me twice... By the way, it is mandatory to sign your posts with your full name in this forum, otherwise they might be deleted... Arne Bergner
August 10, 201312 yr You can also set up the aircraft the way you want it at startup and make that the default startup state by saving that panel state under your own chosen file name in CDU Menu>PMDG setup>startup state . PMDG's manual specifically says not to load a default aircraft first (but to have FSX start with the default unchanged from the Friday Harbor one it comes with). Mike
