Thanks Guys, they had troubles with their servers before. Maybe it´s a bandwith limitation, bad thing is I can´t find a way to register so I´m stuck in a loop. It´s not incredibly important, I just wanted to check out the scenery package and since this is freeware I won´t make a fuzz about it... Guess I´ll have to wait til the site is up and running again...

Hey everybody, Last week I downloaded the OZx scenery version 3.4. from their website http://aussiex.org/forum/ When I read the documentation I learned that this is not a standalone Install but just another upgrade in a series of scenery packages. However since 3 or 4 days I´m having trouble getting on their website. I´m not a registered member of their forum and it´s impossible to get the site to load properly. I always get the following message: and when I click on ANY link I get this: I tried this with different computers and mobile devices, no joy. Is anyone else seeing this too? I Just want to make sure there isn´t an issue on my end... My apologies If I posted this in the wrong forum, please feel free to move the topic where it belongs.... Just go the left bottom of the page where it says "use mobile version" I have the same here with an iphone 5 and safari. Avsim used to "recognize" the mobile device. Now I have to choose the mobile version manually every other day or so....

Try out Kyle's excellent tutorial on the topic of sids and stars Once you get the hang of it it is both easy and entertaining to look up sids and stars from the charts. Just google the icao code of the airport you are planning to fly to/from. Some results might be a bit outdated but in most cases you'll be able to find the right charts really easy.

There were a lot of people with the same issue over at fsdt's own forum. The installer somehow got corrupted. Just go to the side and download/install again. This worked for me and some of the other users stated the same. Best, Arne

I´m not using Pro ATC/X but I had this error coming up several times, also before SP1d, however I found an easy fix that worked ever since I found it, at least on my setup. When the error occurs, just press the "menu" key on the CDU and hold it for a couple of seconds (like one would do to "wake up" the FMC in cold & dark panel state). In both cases the frozen FMC sprang back to life. Hope that´s not too obvious and hasn´t been posted before...

Same here. The knob can only be controlled via mousewheel, not in the way it works in the 777. The rest (weather radar,etc.) seems fine.

It´s the same at LFMN, if you´re a little low the plain just slams onto the runway. There´s a thread about it at the aerosoft forums. People over there say all airports that have their runway thresholds close to the sea are prone to this problem, especially when there is a mesh addon involved. Lowering the mesh resolution one step at a time might help.

Have you inserted a proper route with origin and destination? The message should disapear when you have an active route in the FMC.

Are you using ASN by any chance? If so, there's a thread about unstable approaches while using the newest version if ASN in the general forum... http://forum.avsim.net/topic/454857-before-and-after-the-sp1c/?view=getnewpost

My workaround is to select the default state again after it failed to load properly. Works every time, although this might not exactly be the way it's meant to be...

Much better for me. Trim is smoother, flaring feels natural and the annoying pitch up when disconnecting the autopilot is gone...

Installed without problems. Uncommanded pitch up on autopilot disconnect is gone. Flaring feels great now! Trim seems much smoother. Thank you PMDG!!!

Seems you have the flight test package installed. I´m too lazy/tired to fire up my fsx now, but I`m quite shure you can switch it off in the FMC under PMDG Setup/Aircraft/Equipment. Its also mentioned in the intro manual...

From the intro manual: "AUTO STEP CLIMBS: Automatically increase the MCP altitude at step climb points and initiate the climb. Useful if you are flying long haul while not at your computer" (end of quote) You can enable Auto Step Climb in the options menu, Page 5/7. Or just go to Menu / FS Actions / Auto Cruise And yes, it´s all automatic, if you want that option, it´s set and forget...

Working flawlessly. Are you shure it´s enabled in the options menu? Sorry if that´s too obvious...
