Have you inserted a proper route with origin and destination? The message should disapear when you have an active route in the FMC.

Are you using ASN by any chance? If so, there's a thread about unstable approaches while using the newest version if ASN in the general forum... http://forum.avsim.net/topic/454857-before-and-after-the-sp1c/?view=getnewpost

My workaround is to select the default state again after it failed to load properly. Works every time, although this might not exactly be the way it's meant to be...

Much better for me. Trim is smoother, flaring feels natural and the annoying pitch up when disconnecting the autopilot is gone...

Installed without problems. Uncommanded pitch up on autopilot disconnect is gone. Flaring feels great now! Trim seems much smoother. Thank you PMDG!!!

Seems you have the flight test package installed. I´m too lazy/tired to fire up my fsx now, but I`m quite shure you can switch it off in the FMC under PMDG Setup/Aircraft/Equipment. Its also mentioned in the intro manual...

From the intro manual: "AUTO STEP CLIMBS: Automatically increase the MCP altitude at step climb points and initiate the climb. Useful if you are flying long haul while not at your computer" (end of quote) You can enable Auto Step Climb in the options menu, Page 5/7. Or just go to Menu / FS Actions / Auto Cruise And yes, it´s all automatic, if you want that option, it´s set and forget...

And another one: 2500k at 4.5 for more than two years. I also have a very basic motherboard (Gygabyte PA67 D3 B3) Cooled with Hyper 212 EVO. My first self-built rig. Only bummer is the combination of the Gygabyte MB and the Hyper cooler only allows for 2 ram modules. Still, right now I see no reason to change to something more "modern"

Thanks for the hint! I read the intro manual and of course I read the SP1 and 300ER supplement sections before I started fying the 300ER. The thing is I can´t find anything about an uncommanded pitch up at 50`RA on every landing. Neither in the 300ER section nor in the SP1 section. There´s actually not much about the flight characteristics in the 300ER section. The only thing I found is rather vague, it´s in the passage about tailstrike avoidance (page0.00.171): Quote: "You will notice a distinct difference in the feel of the 300ER vs. the 200LR/F during takeoff and landing because of the system’s more aggressive control loading." (end of quote) If you could point me to a passage in the intro manual that helps me with the pitch up - problem I would be grateful!

Okay, I did some testing: The uncommanded pitch up only occurs with the 300, not with the 200LR/F. Anyone else experiencing this? It´s quite annoying, because the whole approach is ruined when you have to push the nose down exactly the moment you´re crossing the threshold :huh:

I am also experiencing the uncommanded pitch up at 50` RA. Have not tried it with the 200LR or the freighter yet. I am using a Logitech Attack 3 Joystick.

FIRST!!! The 300ER from EDDH to OMDB...

I tried it out with Aerosofts EHAM where I rarely get more than 18 FPS (AI 50%, lots of WOAI packages installed) With FA I manage to scratch 25 most of the time. No stutters, etc. Only when I´m rapidly cycling through my EzDok views the sim takes a second or so to settle again. Impressive. By the way, I´m running a 2500k overclocked to 4,5 with a GTX 560ti...

I fly that approach quite often. It´s close to EDDT where I live and there´s still a real flight operated by Air Berlin and Easy Jet. With the oresund bridge freeware scenery and scansims EKCH it´s a nice place to land... Okay, here´s the next one: Where am I?
