Second Monitor Touch Screen - Worked in FSX, but not in P3D

Featured Replies

As the title suggests, with my FSX setup I used a 22" Iiyama touch screen as my second monitor to operate EFB and FMC.

In P3D anything that is not part of the sim itself, e.g. Aivlasoft EFB, Plan G, work fine with the touch screen. However any 2D panel associated with an aircraft, FMC, GPS, MCP etc, undocked and dragged to the second touch screen do not respond to the touch.  The cursor graphically changes as expected, but the input is not registered by P3D.  It is the same whether I run in full screen or windowed mode.

Has anybody come across the same issue and can offer any advice?

The touch screen drivers are installed correctly and all other software responds to touch as expected.

Thanks,

Hi Daz... another Daz here...

I stumbled across your post researching addon compatibility for P3D as I'm considering trying it out - especially with v2.0 on the horizon. A key factor would be whether I could get my touch screen working so I was wondering if you had any success? I too use a touch screen as a second monitor for the same reasons in FSX.

Sorry I haven't been able to assist you!

Regards

Daz
