August 13, 201312 yr I have just purchased the PMDG Jet Stream and after a succesful Install When I start FSX and then select the aircraft FSX fatal error and shuts down any help out there why as no other aircraft do this. I have a AMD 4100 3.6 Quad core 8 Gb DDR Ram 2gb NVIDA Graphics card Windows 7

August 13, 201312 yr The solution I found (at PMDG support), is awkward, but it works.. Make sure that your saved (default) flight is with an FSX base aircraft.. I use the C172.. When you plan to fly the J41.. FIRST place the C172 at the airport; start the flight.. Then from there.. C172 on the tarmac.. switch to the J41.. Also.. if you plan on using the FMC, DO NOT slew the C172, nor the J41. All of this has to do with the J41 model/system complexity..

August 14, 201312 yr Once you have it loaded, you will need this tool: Google search for the file: J41ColdDark it will put the J41 cold and dark with the stop cocks in proper place without interfering with the FSX situation, then follow the startup in the manual to the T
