I want to know if the TSP was simulated in the PMDG 777.

 

Does only the 777-300ER have it or also the other versions?

 

I`m not 100% sure, but I red that the TSP has also a callout which should be like "TAIL TOO LOW".

 

I heard that only one time in a helicopter GPWS.

 

 

 

I'm sure I read somewhere that it is modelled within the PMDG simulation, however I could be wrong.

I believe it is only a feature in the 77W.

 

Works by a 2" blade and two sensors on the underside of the tail. When a strike is found to be imminent, and when operating in normal mode (rather than secondary or direct law), the PFC will decrease elevator detection and an EICAS message saying TAIL STRIKE will appear. I am not too sure about the callout but nothing in our manuals about it.
