  1. Can yomebody make a video of the engines tart outside view in the same position like the position in the youtube videos?
  2. How ever the start up sound from outside view is not like the real one. I just attached the videos do let you hear the difference. The inner view sound is realistic and good. Hope the sound designer of PMDG can give a short comment to that.
  3. The outside engine start doesn`t sound like a GE90-115. COmpare
  4. asdro replied to bukeyolacan's topic in PMDG 777
Oliver Pabst is planning moving vehicles for Cargo aircrafts in the near future. That was announced at aerosoft.
  5. Hello byork, Can you please make it possible to put your RAAS sounds in an extra folder, so that user can change the sounds. May be a user gets access to the sounds and can upload them on avsim. But what I don`t understand is, why should Honeywell make problems by using the RAAS sounds? I mean what`s about the GPWS sounds, which are in the PMDG, Wilco, or on avsim? They are also from Honeywell. However if you could make an update it would be great. Also what I hope is to add more callouts. The metric callouts start at 1800m in reality. Yours start at 1200m. The callout in feet start at 5000 or 6000 feet. I am sure that there is an option in reality that the highest distance callouts (1800/1500m or 5000ft are played below a certain roll speed. Also it would be nice if the configutation would be more aircraft specific. I mean for every aircraft suited. Not only choice between Airbus and Boeing. What does A32Xtebs mean with "getting another voice"? I pesonally have excess to the real female voice, but not 100% all of the callouts. But for me it is not possible to use them unless your sounds are in container files. Tassili Airlines Algeria uses the male aural warning voice of the GPWS for RAAS. Also Ehiopian Airlines. female voice P.S. Concerning the male voice there are two or three different voices existing!
  6. Hello I just asked myself if the engine sound noise in the flightdeck will be different because of the length of the aircraft. The 777-300ER is much longer so in the cockpit there should be lesss noise I asume. Is that considered by the sound engeneer of PMDG? Please change the topic name. The 77 comes from finger trouble I guess.
  7. For those who are interested. Turkish Airlines is going to be the first airline that will offer nonstop flights from europe to australia. They want to order 777-200LR for flights between Istanbul and australia.
  8. nice. to know. So it calculates the kinetic energy to start descend on the right time when you want to reach a certain altitude at a certain point.
  9. ok. I see. But is not the green banana enough for that? It helps me also to reach a certain waypoint constraint. I can adjust my sinkrate with it.
  10. thank you. But concerning my first question...I still did not get it.
  11. Hello can you answer please theese questions? 1) What are the blue and white rotaing rngs on the EHSI for? 2) Does the 777 start engine with packs on? Also with dual engine start? 3) what do the blue arrows next to airports on the EHSI mean? 4) I saw in a video that the DING DONG messages like "CABIN READY" are announced. Are there more messages like "NO MOBILE". Do the pilots cancel the messages or will they go after a certain time? 5) What do the white boxes on the upper EICAS mean next to the EICAS Caution messages. Some of the messages have some don`t have a white box at the beginning. Thanks for help.
  12. I saw the streamvideo of frooglesim and the sound is indeed that of FS2crew. It`s a pity because I hoped to hear the common female voice of RAAS. Unfortunatly the sound is not changeable because they are in a containerfile. So there is no folder where I can easy change wav files. Hope fs2crew will change that.
  13. The callout "AIRSPEED LOW" is an new callout. Perhaps it will be heard in the future often. This callout makes sense after the crash with ASIANA 777 in SFO. The callout ENGINE FAIL exists also for the 777 as custom option. I heard that myself in a youtube video. It was in an original 777 fullflight sim. There is another callout which is offered by Boeing. It says "CONFIGURATION". But I never heard that personally. P.S. The GPWS of THALES has a similar callout like AIRSPEED LOW. It says "ALPHA FLOOR".
  14. Hello I want to ask if this callout AIRSPEED LOW" is simulated in the PMDG777. This callout is an airlines option like "V1" or "ENGINE FAIL". it can be heard reaches the minimum air speed. I heard that in the ifly 737 the first time. Here is an example during the GPWS test in a 737NG. Can also the callout "ENGINE FAIL" be selected? I heard that in the old PMDG 737NG in the year 2003 for the first time.
  15. Hello I want to know if the TSP was simulated in the PMDG 777. Does only the 777-300ER have it or also the other versions? I`m not 100% sure, but I red that the TSP has also a callout which should be like "TAIL TOO LOW". I heard that only one time in a helicopter GPWS.
