August 9, 201312 yr hello Does the PMDG 777 have RAAS? I saw videos on youtube that Emirates, Turkish, Egyptair have RAAS installed. I think FedEx, Aerologic hav them too. I mention only the 777 customers. If it is not in the PMDG 777, will it come as an future update?
August 9, 201312 yr Author Unfortunatly they do not use the original voice of RAAS. They use an own created cyntetic voice. It is not the same.
August 9, 201312 yr Author What`s the problem? I asked a question. If nobody knows the answer then you don`t need to write back and comment everything. I know the RAAS addon of FS2crew and I wanted to know if there will be an own RAAS in the PMDG 777. It has nothing to do with rivet counting. If you are happy with less features then it is up to you. I use FS simulation since 2002 and I have also lots of experiences. So if I ask for RAAS then I know what I`m asking about. Thanks
August 9, 201312 yr I think its actually a very interesting question. I'm not sure if its an option from Boeing. If it is an option then there is a chance it is a feature in the PMDG 777. To the other couple guys. What if he was asking so he could determine if he needed to buy it or not? Seems logical to me. August 9, 201312 yr As far as I am aware it is not fitted on base 777's. Boeing do however offer the Honeywell RAAS system as a forward fit option to customers. Im not sure if it is in the PMDG model (im guessing it isnt) but the one from FSCrew is really good. You get used to the voice. Elliot Westacott

Avoid justifying your experience vaguely, particularly in cases like this. It gives the appearance that you're asking to be taken seriously, when you should set the bar at people should know to take you seriously (or better yet - that you don't care if they do or not). In any case, here: The above image has some heavy-handed JPEG compression on it. It is not meant to accurately display color or exact font characteristics, and is only an attempt to show the availability of RAAS in the 777. Kyle Rodgers

Very nice pmdg (Y) Just to clarify RAAS is installed together with pmdg777 setup like the airbus X extended by aerosoft? If that so will be awesome! Kailiang Seah
August 9, 201312 yr Wow - excellent! Did not think it would be included. Great job again guys! Elliot Westacott
August 9, 201312 yr Fly with no AI traffic ( to keep above 30fps ) BUt still a nice feature to enhance runway awareness Kailiang Seah
August 9, 201312 yr That would actually be a real nice addition to the PMDG 777. One I wasn't counting on at all! Michar Breems
August 9, 201312 yr Poor Bryan ... B) But: He may have licenced his RAAS to PMDG (as he did with the other FBW aircraft ...). Pure speculation, though. What happened to AVSIM
