  1. That is really, really warm welcomed news to me!I enjoyed the NGX so much for a long time. Then you guys got a weather radar in the triple, and I couldn't for the life of me figure out how the heck I managed without WXR-radar. Haven't flown the NGX since I got vectored to finals on a busy VATSIM Heathrow evening and flew right into a thunderstorm and it's accompanied heavy turbulence
  2. I haven't jumped ship to P3D yet, but was kind of waiting for PMDG aircraft and more certainty/clarity on x64 support on P3D as OOM's are driving me mad in FSX. I was under the impression that P3D was really the only real way forward in flightsim. I get that P3D isn't meant for purely entertainment flightsimming, but I fail to understand how FSX:SE is a future path for this. or will this FSX:SE receive continual updates and development for the future, as per P3D?
  3. I've checked. I get this error myself too. Didn't happen before. You can just ignore it. Strange thing is. When I save the profile after the aft overhead 22 camera-prompt, and reload it again prompts me that aft overhead 22 camera is not found. I'm not that much of an expert on ezdok to know how to resolve this, other than simple ignorance.
  4. Here you go: 772LF link, 77W link Only thing different between the sets is the position of the outside views, as they're adjusted to the different length of the 77L/F compared to 77W. I also updated the 77W file for anyone who's interested. Only small cockpit camera tweaks. Keep in mind that, due to I don't know which exact bug in FSX, the cockpit views might not exactly be right on spot. You'll have to keep arrange your exact views to line em up perfectly with your instruments during your sim-time and you'll see them shift during flight. Enjoy.
  5. That's written in the manual . I would've looked it up for you myself, but I'm not behind my computer this weekend.
  6. Congrats and thanks, Kyle!
  7. The only pricing indication for P3D that was given by PMDG is that we can expect the 777 to be somewhere around 200USD. you'll have to think for yourself of your perspective on how much you think a NGX might cost. (Not an invitation for a guessing/speculation thread!)
  8. Are you actually running out of fuel completely, or do you mean that the insufficient fuel message pops up every flight?
  9. Just a wild guess: Are you sure you are familiar with the editing of the registration file, as it needs adjustments in the alpha channel? If you've only edited the normal paint layer but made no changes to alpha, then my suggestion would be to look up a few tutorials on YouTube, as they clear up that whole alpha editing quite nicely.
  10. I'm sure you'll enjoy it. I have been using it for a long time and very happy with it. Especially nowadays since it cooperates with PFPX.
  11. If you are not a commercial user, you're going to be just fine with the download version. The standard version is shipped on cd-rom. Same goes for deluxe version, which also includes a hardcopy user manual. Software of all these versions is identical.
  12. In combination with the already mentioned suggestions, you should really pay vatsim.net a visit. They have quite extensive information and guidance on how to fly, and how to do so online.
  13. Well, you to delete all of them, you could navigate to the FSX/PMDG folder, and find the panel state folder (not behind PC right now). That would be a lot more efficient way then deleting them one by one.
  14. Yeah flightaware is my favorite source for this kind of stuff too!
  15. I'm sorry to hear of your trouble. We all know how frustrating this can be. Whenever FSUIPC warns be of almost full VAS, I dial back autogen 1 or 2 steps in sim. I also have found that messing with LOD_radius at a too demanding setting will increase VAS a lot. Their are better PCs out there then yours, but you should be able to run FSX an a decent level, i would believe. Have you tried that VAS monitor tool that Tabs has informed us about a while back?
  16. I'm also definitely seeing a performance increase with SP1 installed. What are others computers doing while activating taxicam? On the ground I had 33 without and 8 to14 with taxicams on. During cruise I get 44frames (taxicam off) and 30 with the cams on. Definitely seeing a big performance hit as expected. (Not a complaint, just want to compare with others)
  17. Well, i guess since the SP1/300ER release, we can all change focus now towards spamming FS2CREW forums demanding immediate release Kidding of course. Really looking forward to a voice controlled FS2CREW PMDG777 edition though. Good luck with that!
  18. There are so many people on VATSIM currently flying the 77W . Well, i guess people kind of prefer to do their own thing with this new aircraft, above competing right away in a competition of some sort. I'm off on UAE248 Rio de Janeiro to Dubai today, see you all in the vatsim skies!
  19. You're very welcome!
  20. There is no template currently in PFPX. But you can add a 777-300ER profile though. Choose the first option in the PFPX menu when adding an aircraft, instead of the second which reads 'Aircraft from template'.That will bring up a screen in which you can choose an aircraft type from a quite long drop-down list. There's lots of aircraft in PFPX, not all of them have a template.
  21. Yeah, it's awesome that PFPX had already had a B777-300ER profile added. Lets hope TOPCAT will have proper profile added soon!
  22. I checked my installed manuals in FSXdir/PMDG/PMDG777X/Flight Manuals/... The PMDG-777-Introduction.pdg, says PMDG 7777-200LR/F as a title, but it does have the 18JUL14 SP1 timestamp in the right bottom corner. More importantly it has the PMDG-777-300ER supplement section (see in index on page 0.00.12). And a few other sections as well (Datalink section for example). You should find the manuals in above location, another way of opening them is through the PMDG Operations Center. Hope you can find them!
  23. Download from my dropbox here. Just thought I'd share for anyone not as accustomed with EZCA tool to design your own camera set. Don't forget to run the EZCA config.exe after you've installed any new aircraft. The cockpit views are bound to keypresses 1 to 0, which have a sequence I myself find very intuitive while going through flows and checklists and such. Also shift+2 and shift+4 you might find convenient. Outboard views are bound to keypresses ctrl+1 to ctrl+0. I claim no rights to this file, use and modify to your liking. Enjoy!
  24. Michar83 posted a topic in PMDG General Forum
Well, that was the smoothest release I've ever encountered. Downloaded SP1 in breeze, bought and downloaded 777-300ER expansion and the updated OC is downloading liveries now. All within aprox. 2-3mins. Thanks a lot PMDG! How the heck am I suppose to go sleep now?
