ARIANE 737 NG with 1.3 patch?

Featured Replies

I am interested in buying their 737ng vc and i am wondering if their latest patch (1.3 I think it is), fixes the slow refresh rate of the gauges, and also is it possible maybe to replace their vc main flight displays with gauges from diffrent aircraft... I understand that pmdg has a great aircraft but I cant fly with framerates under 20fps. And I am looking for a commercial aircraft where I could fly it only from the vc

High gauge refresh rate and flying only in VC - my friend I think you got conflicting priorities. I am afraid you will have to choose one or the other.Michael J.WinXP-Home SP2,AMD64 3500+,Abit AV8,Radeon X800Pro,36GB Raptor,1GB PC3200,Audigy 2

I am afraid you will>have to choose one or the other.Yep. Take GA, then you'll have fast fps in VC.

So what about the pmdg, the gauges also dont have high refresh rates, what I mean by high is just enough to be able to fly the aircraft from the vc in imc, and be able to shoot an ils without too much lag..

>to fly the aircraft from the vc in imc, and be able to shoot>an ils without too much lag..Consider this a limitation of FS9, not PMDG's or Ariane's. There was recently a post about it on the 767PIC forum. If you want to have smooth/high refresh rate you have to be in 2D cocpkit. does a real high-end pc make a difference? I know of a 757vc with smooth gauges...not posky's. It seems to affect my textures making them dissapear...

So the question is the ariane with the latest patch comparable as far as the refresh rates with the gauges to the pmdg bird, and also does ariane have additional paint schemes for the 900ng??? Thanks for everybodies time!!

I REALLY WISH that you would keep the PMDG out of your COMPARISONS with Araine. If it is GUAGE REFRESH RATES then this goes toward ALL aircraft with VCS. As for their gauge refresh rates, why not post here on their forum herewww.whyowhyevenaftertomofferedthemonetheysaytheyarenotallowedtohaveone.com Best Wishes,[h4]Randy J. Jeez man...what's your problem? :-lol

What? You mean you are the only one in OZ that has not had the pleasure of some unknown new guy who somehow missed the million bashing, fighting - arguing threads about PMDG and Araine who no matter what seems to include PMDG in anything Araine related? This post had nothing do to with PMDG as his questions is related to VC gauge refresh rates in the VC. Why the PMDG comparison though? Just because one is a same type of sim does not MEAN they are the same gauges plus it's a big no no to start such threads that ALWAYS end up going do the long road of stupidity (many times with me and my fishing poll)......................... I have both the PMDG and Ariane 737's. PMDG's VC gauge refresh rates and graphics are better than Ariane's, even after the upgrade.I have a 3.4GHz, 2G ram, ATI X800, Windows XP Pro system. The only extra liveries for the Ariane -900 that I am aware of are those those that one must buy, on the Ariane site.Hope this helps,Mike F.

I have both and I love flying them and yes the PMDG is alot easier with 2d cockpits but the Ariane's 3d cockpit works fine also. The choose is yours and its up to you how you spend your money, but don't let other people tell you what to buy. What does not work for them might work great for you. Jeff
