Engines Acting strange

Featured Replies

Hey guys,

So I have been having a weird problem with the NGX! I think It has something to do with FSUIPC

I have a registered version of FSUIPC. So today I re installed fsx! And today for my first flight I was setting up for my flight from YSSY TO YBBN!

I was sitting at the gate at Sydney, with 20 - 25 Frames per second using CLS Sydney, my sim was finally perfect. but that didnt last long, where out of no where the cock pit started to flash, like there was lightning how ever the skies where blue and no clouds. Suddenly I noticed that my N2 on my engine 1 was rising ? I had not done anything! The packs where all still on, the engine start switches weren't switched to the engine start position! The N2 just Hovered at 25% obviously waiting for me to add the fuel ! So then all of sudden it started to go from 25% back down to 0. This happened 3 times before actual engine start up so I could depart for brisbane!

Then when I went to pushback, all the engines started fine, I set flaps checked controls, did all the before taxi things. Went to spool up the engines and only engine 2 was responding to my command. I use F3 on the keypad to increase the engines and well engine 1 wouldn't spool. The control Collum thrust levers both increased together, but there was no response from engine 1. So engine 1 has been involved with both cases of my weird morning at the office!

I can live with the engine N2 rising. I can live with that, but only having 1 engine spool I can't live with that!

Is this a FSUIPC issue ?

Any suggestions ? Any part of information would be much appreciated

Try pressing the "E" key and then press "1" then "2", all in quick succession. That will ensure your throttle is configured to control of both engines.
