  1. Ben, the only way to get the updated 300ER is to download the new installer for it. Uninstalling and reinstalling the same old version is not going to do anything. If the download is not associated with your account then you may have to access it using your email address and order number on the same page that you log in at PMDG. If you have lost this information there is an option to have it emailed to you.
  2. PMDG have not done email support in a long time. You will need to open a support ticket at http://support.precisionmanuals.com. They will get you back up and running. To the OP, for the 777, before you start the upgrade you can deactivate your key through the settings menu on the CDU. That will release the registration so that it is not counting against your limit.
  3. You don't need to update the ops center, you need to download the updated installer for the 300ER. Go to http://www.precisionmanuals.com/ Login Click "View previous orders" Click on the order number for the 300ER (it will be the 29.99 one) At the bottom of that page, click the download url and save the updated version to your computer Run the installer
  4. You cant update the 777-300ER through the Ops Center, you have to re-download the installer from where you bought the product. You can just run the installer again, no need to remove the old version first.
  5. Just note that if you are using the 777 to test whether or not the trim buttons are working, you must have the hydraulics turned on.
  6. In case you are still having problems locating it, here is the exact location to delete the unused panel states from: <FSX>\PMDG\PMDG777X\PanelState
  7. You should be able to reactivate it on the same pc an unlimited number of times. If you are having issues you need to open a support ticket with PMDG at http://support.precisionmanuals.com/Main You will need to login (or create an account) then click on the "Tickets" button. This account is separate from your forum account.
  8. Just make a backup of the entire <FSX>\PMDG directory. The specific files that you are asking about are stored in <FSX>\PMDG\PMDG 737 NGX\Aircraft. They are named <atc_ID>.inf
  9. Sure, it is the "CLOCK" button next to the "MIC" button to the left of where the old analog clock used to be. It is there no matter what type of clock you have installed. You can see it in the photo you posted. Just look for the button labeled "CLOCK" just below the PDF popup in your photo. Left click to start/stop/reset the timer. Right click to toggle acceleration on/off. Another useful tip; if you push the "MIC" button it will open the 2d radio panel. Happy Flying
  10. PMDG does not sell a 767 product. If you mean the 737 check to make sure your firewall is not blocking the traffic and if that doesn't fix it submit a ticket at http://support.precisionmanuals.com/Main/Default.aspx. You also need to sign your post with your full name as per forum rules.
  11. Go to the PMDG support site and submit a ticket. http://support.precisionmanuals.com/Main/
  12. Any time you are interesed in finding information about aircraft limitations, the appropriately named "Limitations" section of FCOMv1 is a good place to start. As far as I know there is no wind limitation on a/p - a/t use. There is an operating limitation for a maximum takeoff and landing tailwind component of 15 knots. See FCOMv1 pg 179. There are also limitations on wind speeds for automatic landings on FCOMv1 pg 184: Headwind 25 knots Tailwind 15 knots Crosswind 25 knots These limitations are recommendations by Boeing, individual opeators can have a company SOP that adjusts these limitations.
  13. If you mean that it has been nearly a month since the last update from PMDG on the 777 you might want to look again. This topic is only 5 days old.
  14. You are in a customer support forum where people volunteer their time to help others with issues. If you want official support from PMDG submit a support ticket.
  15. Are you trying to set a record for duplicate posts? You have been around these forums long enough that you should know better.
  16. As far as I know there is no gauge included with it. You can run it as a window that overlays your FSX window but you would need to run FSX in windowed mode. Running FSX windowed works well for me but for some it may be a deal breaker. It may be worth a try to see how it works for you. Just download the 30 day free trial.
  17. The program runs external to FSX and it's primary window is a moving map display. I run FSX windowed and run FSCommander on a second monitor. You can also run it networked on a second computer. I recommend you download the 30 day fully functional trial to see if it will work out for you.
  18. FSCommander is a great flight planner and navigation tool. If you zoom in the moving map display it works great for situational awareness while taxiing. One thing I really like about it is it's ability to display AI and online traffic which makes it a great tool for self vectoring so I don't have to use the crappy FSX ATC and for when there is no ATC online with VATSIM. Google it and take a look at the screenshots page.
  19. There is nothing to fix. The newer products from PMDG have moved all setup functionality to the FMC so they do not have a menu selection in the FSX menu bar. So the fact that it is missing is not a problem because it is not there by design.
  20. Make sure you have FSX SP2 installed. If so, you may want to try reinstalling the service pack since it appears you have some missing or corrupt files.

"No Electronics" is a passenger sign that illuminates to let passengers know when the use of electronic devices in the cabin is prohibited. Many airlines are replacing the "No Smoking" sign with a "No Electronics" sign. There is an option in the setup where you can select whether your aircraft is equipped with a "No Smoking" sign, "No Electronics" sign, or neither. The selector for the sign can be put in the On, Off, or Auto position. The EICAS message you are seeing informs the pilots that the cabin sign is illuminated. When you say "Pilot Input" I assume you are referring to the "Pilot Response" message on the EICAS. It is a warning to see if the pilots are still alert and occurs in cruise if you have not interacted with the aircraft in a while. It is an option that can be turned off in the setup.
  22. Already posted and being discussed here: http://forum.avsim.net/topic/421144-can-pmdg-work-with-hifi-to-bring-us-a-working-weather-radar/page-6
  23. You should submit a support ticket at http://support.precisionmanuals.com
  24. In the bottom right corner of the Audio Control Panel is a switch to select the APP audio source. You can select L, C, R or MKR. Just to the left of that switch is a light that should NOT be illuminated if you don't want to hear the audio. If it is, click on the volume knob to the left of the light to turn off the audio. For reference the area I am talking about is labeled "9" in the illustration on page 343 of PMDG-777-FCOMv2.pdf
  25. Yes, happens pretty frequently. It is a known bug with FSX. Just tap the Q key twice to cycle the FSX sound engine off and back on.
