Every so often if I switch windows for something, and come back to the virtual cockpit, after flipping around views, its like the sounds don't all come back, and I'm left with whatevers there when you take away the engine noises. Anyone else have this happen?

Yes, happens pretty frequently. It is a known bug with FSX. Just tap the Q key twice to cycle the FSX sound engine off and back on.

Hi Patrick,

A well known bug with fsx, if you press Q on your keyboard this turns the sound off. To fix the problem just press Q twice, this will reset the sounds. This bug can happen quite often so your not on your own.
