Hi,

 

I have build a new PC with the I7-4770K and Asus Z87-Pro and have some problem with the sound. I am using the very new Update 2013 soundset from Steve but i feel the sounds is very distant (for instance trim-wheel ) and not up-front and close as it used to be.

 

I have a 2.1 setup (front speakers and a sub) and have realtek 5.1 setup because of the bass management.

 

If have checked the manual and setup/checked the standard setup.

 

What have i missed ? Has it something to do with the 5.1? Cant remember my old settings :-)

That is how i have done that sound i can make it more upfront if you wish ... its because i inverted the stereo wav.

 

Might be a stab in the dark but have you got the correct phonos in the correct sockets. The reason i ask is because i used to use a bose one and if they were not in the right sockets to the correct speaker i did get issues myself.

 

But failing that i will take alook next week when im back home and have alook buddy. #
