Upgrading Asus G750JW with a SSD

Featured Replies

Guys,

Just got new ASUS G750JW laptop, and I am set on adding the SSD hard drive (250 GB Samsung 840). Should i put the OS to SSD drive and FSX on stock HDD (5400 rpm), or leave the OS on stock HDD and install FSX on SSD? Any suggestion will be appriciated!

Thanks and best regards!

Put both OS and FSX on the SSD. It works perfectly fine with an SSD to have both FSX and OS on it. Keep that old mechanical drive for your photos/movies/music

Install FSX in it's own folder on the OS disk (C:\Microsoft Flight Simulator X) to avoid any problems with Windows protecting files in the default program folders on the OS drive.
